The Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) hired Geiger & Associates Public Relations, a tourism marketing firm from Tallahassee, Florida, to market Door County to national level journalists throughout the country.  The proactive media marketing campaign undertaken by the DCVB will introduce Door County to specifically targeted journalists representing national and regional travel, lifestyle, meeting trade, cuisine and outdoor publications throughout the US and Canada.  Journalists who participate in these group editorial research trips will feature positive editorial coverage about Door County as a compelling visitor destination in their respective publications.

Door County constituents may request to receive quarterly reports on the coverage that Door County has received as a result of the DCVB's media marketing program with Geiger & Associates Public Relations.  The DCVB is offering two different ways to receive copies of the coverage, either electronically on CD as PDF files, or as hard copies on 8.5 x 11 paper.  Coverage reports will be sent out on a quarterly basis, in the following months of the year:
