So Delicious Has a New Time Slot!
The “new & improved “Kingdom So Delicious” (KSD), will be kicking off in
mid-September with a wonderful roster of culinary delights, farm tours
and educational sessions that will leave your taste buds tingling. On
the 27th of September, the fabulous Fifty Mile Feast will be
the final jewel in the crown of Door County’s “Kingdom.” Watch for
updates and added events, which will be arriving throughout the summer.

There isn't any reason Door County couldn't
obtain the designation for our Green practices. It's not that hard
to get involved and now the Door County Visitor Bureau is able to
reimburse your certification fee with help from a grant through the DNR!

Travel Green Wisconsin
Door County was selected
as a pilot site for the Travel Green Wisconsin
promotion last spring and now the program is ready to accept applicants
for Certification. If you are interested in this rewarding
program, please let us know. If you apply now, you may
qualify for a full reimbursement of certification fees through an
agreement we have worked out with the Wisconsin Department of Natural

Energy Incentives
from Wisconsin Division of Energy:
The state has announced a small
business grant program to assist eligible small businesses in the
hospitality or tourism industry that have partnered with Travel Green
WI. This program matches existing Focus on Energy incentives for ENERGY
STAR bulbs, fixtures, occupancy sensors, exit signs, food service
equipment and vending machines.
For more info on the Wisconsin Division of Energy’s
incentives, contact Barbara Smith at 608-266-7554.

two ways to apply for Travel
Green Wisconsin Certification:
1) Complete the Checklist (available to
