Potentially Stolen Gift Certificates at large

 

Attention Members,

 

In January a letter was issued to all Gift Certificate participants, listing a series of 12 missing Gift Certificates that had to be reissued.  These gift certificates may be stolen and this afternoon a retail member reported a couple in their mid-twenties tried to use one of the reported certificates at their store.

 

Please print out this e-mail and post the certificate numbers at your register.

 

The purpose of this memo is to alert you to a group of gift certificates that never made it to their destination, we believe they were lost in the mail.

The certificates were re-issued with an R behind the last number on each.

If you receive one of the following gift certificates, please do not accept it.  If at all possible, please ask for identification and/or confiscate the certificate and call the Chamber at 743-4456 or 1-800-527-3529.  Above all, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER.  There is no reason to believe they are dangerous but the certificate is not worth risking your own safety over.
