The Door County Peninsula Strategic Marketing Coalition cordially invites all interested parties to attend the first major community meeting with Destination Marketing Consultant, Marshall Murdaugh on Thursday, June 1st from 1 to 3:30pm at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall.
The purpose of this first meeting will be to review community and agency strengths, weaknesses and challenges in preparing for the future of Door County’s travel and hospitality industry. Attendees will then identify marketing opportunities for the Peninsula
The DCPSMC engaged the services of Marshall Murdaugh Marketing firm in March after receiving proposals from strategic marketing planning consultants around the country.
Murdaugh has worked with more than 50 US destinations to develop successful strategies for their travel and hospitality industry. Murdaugh developed the highly successful “Virginia Is For Lovers” marketing campaign.
The Coalition is pleased to have engaged such a highly credentialed consultant whose expertise has enhanced destinations from Maine to California. All of Door County is invited to give input to this process.
