Join us for an informed discussion on hiring foreign students with cultural exchange expert, Kate Lapinski at our next Chamber Café - February 22nd from 8:30 - 9:30 at the Newport Resort – Church Street, Egg Harbor.

Kate is the Program Coordinator at the Center for Cultural Interchange of Chicago and provides a wealth of understanding to this otherwise intimidating subject and welcomes any questions you might have about this valuable human resource.

 

Chamber Cafés are offered free of charge and are open to the public.

Door County has been selected as one of three pilot sites for the Travel Green Wisconsin promotion being unveiled at this year's Governor's Conference - and we need your participation.  Area businesses meeting the “green criteria” will qualify for special promotions being offered by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism in appreciation of your efforts.

Tuesday – TONIGHT - Get It Together Gathering

Sponsored by The Door County Peninsula and Surrounding Islands Strategic Marketing Coalition

 

Come join us on Tuesday, February 21st, from 5-8pm, at Husby’s, Hwy 57, Sister Bay.

 

The Door County Peninsula and Surrounding Islands Strategic Marketing Coalition is sponsoring a gathering to inform the community about its efforts to build a strategic Marketing Plan for the Door County Peninsula. Husby’s will be providing free appetizers, courtesy of Chef Jon, as well as dessert specialties compliments of DC Dessert Kitchen - There will also be a guest musician later on in the evening.
 
Mission Statement & Objective:  The mission of the Door County Strategic Marketing Coalition, an independent group of business interests, is to develop a sustainable collaborative strategic marketing plan for Door County. Operating with funds pledged by the community, the plan will be developed using a professional consulting firm and will be donated to the community at its conclusion.
